Suzanne Julia Clandon
Suzanne Clandon, referred to as ‘Suze’ or ‘Suzy Q’ is a Tap Dancer, Educator, Event Producer and Arts Education Advocate. Suzanne originates from North West England, and now lives in New York City. In 2015/16 Suzanne was the recipient of a prestigeous UK Fulbright Award Scholarship which has allowed her to re-locate to the US in order to continue her studies in Tap Dance whilst also earning a Masters Degree in Management from the highly acclaimed ‘The New School’ which houses Parsons School of Design.
Suzanne is a guest Syncopated Lady, and was proud to produce and feature in Syncopated Ladies LIVE in Dubai (May 2015). She also featured in the Syncopated Ladies #Formation Video which Chloe Arnold produced and Beyonce so generously posted on her website (March 2016). She also trains and performs with Chloe Arnold’s Apartment 33.
Prior to moving to New York Suzanne lived in Dubai, UAE where she co-founded a non-profit organisation which for caters for Dance Education and performances in schools across the UAE. She is passionate about creating opportunities which allow students from all socio-economic and cultural backgrounds to be immersed in the Arts, in order to further their creativity skills, leadership capacity, and which allow others to be empowered to follow their dreams, passions and own lines of enquiry.
Suzanne considers herself a globally minded citizen and advocate of the Arts in Education and is working towards further shaping society by successfully re-designing current systems of education to better serve and fulfil the potential of its client.
